Brooklands museum

A big thank you to Hilary for having us for the last week.  We are now staying with Holly in Walton-on-Thames. Finn is loving playing with Holly's gorgeous children. They are currently in the playroom inventing a whole new world with Lego.

Today we have been to Brooklands Museum.  It is full of old cars, planes and buses.  We had a happy time wandering around and climbing in and out of vehicles. Finn & Mason even sat in the cockpit of a VC 10 all fitted out for a Sultan. It even had two bedrooms on the plane!

Tomorrow we are off to see Olympic table tennis at ExCeL.  We'll have to catch the train, tube and DLR (Docklands Light Railway) to get there.  An adventure in itself!

  1. Hi Deborah and Finn
The English place names are interesting and also a geographic indicator that you are near the Thames river.
How fabulous to be able to climb in and out of the vehicles at Brooklands. I wonder if the boys noticed how different the older cars are to todays modern cars. The VC10 sounds luxurious. Hope you took some photos.
Enjoy the table tennis - hope your eye tracking skills are rapid.
Love you heaps and thanks for keeping in touch with us all.
