We have our Olympics Tickets!!!

We have now picked up our Olympics tickets.  They are good looking tickets plus we get a free Zone 1 to 9 travel card for each day that we have an event.  How good is that?  Our first event is two football pool matches at Wembley Stadium on Sunday. Not sure if we'll last the distance of 2 matches but we'll certainly give it a shot.

  1. Do you get to keep the tickets or is it like the underground with a single ticket swipe and swallow. Neat how the outline of the person indicates the event.
    Enjoy
the football while I sleep the night away.

  2. So glad to see your photos. Finn is so grown up. Although I have seen photos of him regularly since you left England it comes as a shock to see him looking so tall next to you. We also like Bath as do most people who have been there. Two of our daughter's friends got married there because they liked it so much. One came from N.Ireland and the other from South coast I think.
Do hope we can see you and Finn before you go home. Our grandchildren (Taryn (9) and Sam (5.5) from Herts. have been collected tonight to return home after staying since Monday morning. I am pretty tired as it has been too hot for me and we have been to Legoland by car and Hampton Court by bus and boat as well as going swimming twice, planting potatoes and making strawberry ice-cream and lemon sorbet.

  3. I agree with mums sentiments, I hope you get to keep your tickets as a souviner. They look great!
    Let the games begin!
Today will be the football matches, I'm sure Finn will enjoy watching such top level competition :-)

  4. PrimeTV had the full Opening Ceremony and we watched almost all of it. So wonderfully quirky ... who else but the Brits could mix the Queen and Bond, Mr Bean and Chariots of Fire, and the NHS and Harry Potter with such magnificence! Ryan was up early again this morning to watch the swimming.
We've been scanning the crowds for you, but no luck yet:-) Somehow makes it so even more exciting when we know someone who is actually there.
    Enjoy! Sue

    1. Hi Sue and Ryan!
The first event that Deb and Finn are going to is the football today... Looking at the TV guide it is screening at 3.20am Monday morning... Might have to record it to try and spot them in the crowd at a more reasonable hour! I know I'll be fast asleep then :-)
