14 sleeps to go!

Yesterday we visited the Olympic Museum.  For those of you in Wellington, it's a little museum beside the entrance to TSB Arena on Queen's Wharf.

It's a dinky little museum with lots of interesting facts and displays about the Olympics and our NZ Olympic teams over the years.

Finn and his best friend, Ryan, got to try on a medal.  They are really heavy.

They also got to hold a men's shot put - all 7.25kg.  Just outside the door way, they have a line to show how far Valerie Adams can throw a shot put.  The women's shot put is around 4kg and she can throw it around 23m.  When you see it painted - it's a long way.
